Membership rules & $10,000 transfer terms

Selection & activation

The Gold Founders Club is limited to 200 lifetime memberships. Applications receive individual review by the founding ownership group. SIG may accept, waitlist or decline an application. Payment alone does not secure admission.

Applying does not reserve a membership number or pricing tier. Membership becomes active after acceptance, completion of the required agreements and confirmed payment within the stated activation deadline.

Transfers require SIG approval

Membership and its associated privileges are personal. Any recognized transfer requires:

  • SIG’s prior express written consent.
  • Approval and verification of the proposed new member.
  • Completion of SIG’s required transfer documents.
  • Payment to SIG of a $10,000 transfer fee, plus applicable tax, before the transfer is recognized.

An unauthorized sale, transfer, assignment, pledge, lease or sharing of membership credentials is invalid, conveys no membership benefits and may result in suspension or termination.

Member standards

Applicants must provide accurate information, be of legal age to enter the membership agreement and cooperate with reasonable verification requests.

Fraud, abuse, threats, harassment, counterfeits, unauthorized resale, evasion of membership limits and material breaches may lead to suspension or termination under the formal membership agreement.

Membership & grading privileges

Lifetime membership is subject to the membership agreement. Introductory grading prices and specific service benefits have their own stated conditions; a limited price guarantee is not a lifetime price guarantee.

The inaugural Founder-label allocation is ten eligible cards per activated Founder, for 2,000 cards across the founding class. Subsequent submissions receive standard labels unless SIG separately authorizes a commemorative edition. Founder access is subject to reserved capacity and applicable submission limits.

Membership does not guarantee a particular card grade, market value or resale result. Cards must meet SIG’s eligibility and submission requirements.
